Starting from Leigh on Mendip Memorial Hall
2 pm for cleaning up
‘High Viz’ tabards, bags and ‘litter pickers’ available
Bring your own protective gloves
Come back at 3pm for lovely refreshments,
supporting Fairtrade fortnight.
We're planning on a lovely sunny afternoon for our Village Clean Up operation!

Does anyone eat Danone yoghurts? Would you be interested in recycling the pots to raise cash for charity?
ReplyDeleteBring all of your washed Danone pots to our next meeting. Please ensure they are stacked together. I will send them off to Terracycle who can use them to make a variety of items, e.g. plant pots. Have a look at www.terracycle.co.uk to find out more.

ReplyDeleteYou can also recycle the Kenco Coffee refill pouches through Terracylce - I am collecting these on behalf of the school and would be happy to send them off if anyone in the WI uses them.
