It was fascinating to hear all about the Potter's Village in Uganda, doing such amazing work in caring for babies and children. We had a very interesting evening, and I think we all managed to spend quite a bit at the craft stall provided by our speaker, Ruth and at our bring and buy table!
Anyone with any spare knitting time on their hands will, I'm sure, be starting on some premature baby sized garments to donate.
I forgot to mention that the monthly lunch was much enjoyed by the participants, as usual! Next time will be 7 March at the Mendip Inn, so we'll need to get together to organise transport.
Also, Happy Birthday in February to Linda, Jean and Jan P. I'm so sorry to have forgotten to mention you all and give you our good wishes.
