We have talked about the Wildflower Project in our meetings.

Here is the information on the walk being organised by Somerset Wildlife Trust on
SATURDAY 20 JUNE.

We’re meeting at the Leigh on Mendip village hall at 1pm. The walk will be fairly short but will hopefully give us the chance to spot lots of wildlife including all things growing in the ground, crawling or flying!

We’ll be walking the path around the local quarry and popping down to have a look at the meadow we’re restoring on the south bank of the quarry. The walk will be suitable for all ages and should take around 2 hours. Please bring clothes suitable for the weather conditions on the day!
