Needles & Pins....

What a very interesting evening! Who would have thought that the Singer sewing machine had such an eventful and varied history! Fascinating! Our speaker was passionate about sewing and told us a little of her wide range of experience; she had also brought some beautiful items she had made as well as lovely bags to sell.

After our tea/ coffee break some of us set to work on our banner. This involved choosing the right colours and layout - thank you to everyone who so kindly brought material with them - and then cutting out the letters. I think it will be spectacular!
